Since I got (and washed) it from the thrift store three weeks ago, it became a staple of my daily life. I put it over while working on the computer, especially when the open windows happen to be a bit too cold (cats, don’t ask.) It’s perfect for a short nap in rainy weather, to have a cozy blanket while reading on the couch and sometimes I can even play old colonial lady with it … It could be all so well, but there is one small problem… my cat loves the blanket as much as I do ...
Be suspicious when the blanket looks like this… / Sei vorsichtig, wenn die Decke so aussieht…
... especially when you see ears / … insbesondere wenn sie Ohren bekommen hat ...
... because then, Linus definitely doesn’t want to get disturbed. / ... denn dann möchte Linus garantiert nicht gestört werden.
… meine blau-weiß, gehäkelte Decke. Seit ich diese vor drei Wochen vom Second Hand Laden mitbrachte (und gründlich wusch) ist sie im täglichen Gebrauch unverzichtbar geworden. Ich werfe sie mir über, wenn ich am Computer sitze und es wird etwas zu kalt an den offenen Fenstern (Katzen, fragt nicht...) Es ist perfekt für diesen kurzen Mittagsschlaf an einem Regentag, um eine kuschlige Decke zum Lesen auf der Couch zu haben und manchmal kann ich sogar alte Koloniallady damit spielen... Es könnte alles so schön sein, wenn es nicht dieses kleine Problem gäbe, daß meine Katze die Decke genauso mag wie ich.
