This week I love.... / In dieser Woche mag ich ...

When I got my SLR in April, it didn’t come with a bag and after borrowing (^^) my husband’s very typical camera bag for months, I knew, that this isn’t what I wanted: Having such a bag, meant, that I needed a second bag for all my other things and I also didn’t like to carry around a bag, which basically shouts: Look, I’m an expensive equipment, come and steal me.
I wanted a normal looking cross-body bag, which happens to be a camera bag as well.
It was hard to explain this to my husband, since for him it was clear, that having a camera means, to get a camera bag… which is usually black, simple and made of some durable nylon material. These kinds of bags are also considerable cheaper than all the other options which I had in my mind, so that we couldn’t come to any conclusions and postponed the bag decision. …

 .
And I forgot about it. - My husband didn’t and so I got a bag on our birthday.
It isn’t the most “stylish” bag ever, but I fell in love with it immediately and carry it along with me ever since. It has enough space for my camera and all my usual handbag items, plus there is still space for a second lens, if I want to take one.

And since the camera inlet is removable and adjustable, I can also make a camera bag out of which ever other (larger) bag I get in future :)
